Directors of Youth and Children's Ministry

Our youth program is a new and great addition to our church.  Our youth meets on Sunday morning and evening, and again on Wednesday nights.  Our youth program organizes fun trips focuses on missions, home and foreign,  for everyone that attends. 

Casey and Lauren have been blessed with two wonderful daughters. Casey is originally from western NC but moved to Lauren's hometown in Harrogate, TN when they were married and began their careers as a nurse practitioner and doctor of physical therapy. They had met in college at ETSU while attending the BCM. Both accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord at a young age and remained active in church. They have been members of SBC since December of 2022 and accepted the Lord's call to take the Youth Director position in June of 2024. This includes directing the Kids on Mission Program which involves children of all ages in local and global mission projects based on Acts 1:8 and the youth group for 7-12th graders. They are excited to see what God has in store for the children at SBC and want to have a welcoming environment for local youth to come and receive God's Word to come to know Christ and grow to become more like Him.
